According to the U.S. Agency for International Development, about 4 billion people worldwide are without access to the internet. To help fill this void, the IEEE Internet Initiative created the program, Internet Inclusion: Advancing Solutions, to bring together stakeholders from industry, academia and governments in an effort to drive strategic policy decisions that can bring internet access to the estimated 60 percent of the global population that remains unconnected.
This video features interviews with some of the stakeholders who attended and spoke at the April 25th, 2017, IIAS Briefing in Washington DC.
