Engineer, educator and inventor R. Jacob Baker discusses his book, "CMOS: Circuit Design, Layout and Simulation." Baker explains how he wanted to write a textbook that covered analog and digital circuit design, as well as layout and simulation. His book also features online support, including a website that contains supporting material for the text, and more information for a reader to explore. Baker won the 2007 Frederick Emmons Terman Award from the American Society of Engineering Education, Electrical and Computer Engineering Division, for his book, and shares his experiences from winning that award. Baker also discusses what he hopes this book will be able to help students learn and what he hopes it will bring to the education field.
