How should we manage and control Fifth Generation cell technology? - traditional NOC (network operation centers) or Largely Self-Governed by the users - probably somewhere in between. An autonomic network would potentially have minimal human intervention, build a self-governing network (bound to business goals), define a governance model, and be designed for multiple constituencies; the adaptive automation is based on control loops, links analytics with policy, and adapts policy with the loop.
