The Spectrum Collaboration Challenge (SC2) was a DARPA grand challenge that aimed to spur the development of next-generation AI-enabled wireless networks, through a series of tournament events, to overcome scarcity in the radio frequency spectrum. Team GatorWings from the University of Florida won the overall top prize of US$2 million at the SC2 Championship Event held on 23 October 2019. In this IEEE Future Networks webinar, they share their experiences and radio design strategies that led Team GatorWings to win the SC2, in hopes of shedding some light on further research and development directions in the area of autonomous spectrum sharing.
