Professor Paul Hurley, Tyndall National Institute - University College Cork (Ireland), gives a brief overview of the history of nano-electronics and photonics research, and of 2D electron devices. Prof. Hurley discusses impedance spectroscopy of 2D MOS systems, distributed RC and physics-based models, as well as two experimental results in MoS2 structures.
