When told from a 2050 perspective, we still live in the dark ages of an offline and disconnected world. The full impact of pervasive augmented realities, artificial intelligence, enchanted things, and human augmentation is yet to be materialized.

An increasing part of the general population, especially among Gen Z's, continues to choose frictionless and free over privacy. Since we tend to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the impact, in the long run, some of the most critical questions need to be addressed on a level never realized.
