Aung Tu is a power-management professional with over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. His experiences started with IC design, product development, project management, then as product line manager, world-wide business development director, product line director, and as business unit general manager with P&L responsibility and revenue growth history.

Areas of expertise include high performance power conversion technologies, applications and IC and module solutions for industrial, communication and LED lighting segments. His passion lies in developing new technology and new products for commercial success.

Tu was the Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) General Chair in 2015, and Plenary Chair in 2018. He is on the PSMA (Power Sources Manufacturers Association) Board of Directors, and is co-chair of its Power Technology Roadmaps for 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015.
