Laszlo Koczy

Biography

IEEE and Computational Intelligence Society member Laszlo Koczy, Ph.D., is a professor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, on the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. His research interests include: fuzzy sytems, optimisation, fuzzy rule extraction and model fitting by population based meta-heuristics. Projects he works on include: fuzzy communication and collaboration of intelligent robots, evaluation of telecommunication end-connections by fuzzy rules and wavelet transformation, modeling management systems by fuzzy cognitive maps, evaluation of objects and renovation planning by fuzzy signatures and fs state machines,  and discrete optimisation by meta-heuristics (traveling salesman, bin-packing, etc.).
