Yi Mei is a Lecturer at the School of Engineering and Computer Science, Victoria University of Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand. His research interests include evolutionary algorithms, genetic programming, memetic algorithms and other meta-heuristics, hyper-heuristics, with various real-world applications in scheduling and routing, such as arc routing problems, vehicle routing problems, job shop scheduling, traveling salesman problems, warehouse layout optimization, and personalised tourist trip planning.
